Kemet Atlas is an independent bilingual guide to every museum and monument open to visitors in Egypt.
Who we are
Kemet Atlas ("Kemet" is the ancient Egyptian name for Egypt) is an independent, non-commercial information website. Our goal is simple: to help travellers, students and Egyptians themselves discover the country's museums, temples, tombs, palaces and historic houses — with clear, up-to-date practical information in English and Arabic.

A page for each site with an original overview, highlights, visitor tips, frequently asked questions, ticket prices and opening hours. You can browse by city, by type, or start with the most visited places.
Where our information comes from
The list of sites, ticket prices and opening hours are based on the official ticketing portal of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities (egymonuments.com). Historical overviews are written for this guide and reviewed against reputable published sources. See our Editorial Policy for details.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities or any museum. We do not sell tickets, tours or any other products or services, and we receive no payments from museums, travel companies or advertisers.
